How to update BIOS

I am using Linux Lite 3.2 and HP Compaq dc7800 small form factor, i would like to know how do update BIOS in Linux Lite?

You would need to select FreeDOS.

But if your system ain't broke then don't fix it, otherwise it could become an expensive brick.

thank you Jon but when i inserted USB flash drive and boot order as USB flash drive, still it won't boot from USB flash drive

f23948 instead of changing the boot order you should be able to just push f9 to bring up the boot device options and select the usb device you are trying to boot from.

given the age of computer I sure you have no need to update bios

if its not broken don't have fix it

my computer is very old and there's no update for BIOS available, correct?
