Is it possible to control ram usage on androids?
#1
I have an android cell phone version marshmallow 6.0.1. Model Ls755zv6 and it seems to be eating up a lot of ram when im not even on a task (my phone has 2gb ram and it leaves me with 756ram is this normal or is there a way to solve this?

The only way I can think of is to shutdown / clear background apps.

Open up Settings and select Running Apps then look through which ones you need to keep running for system and which ones you can Force Stop.

You can also Clear the Browser Cache but NOT the Browser Data unless you want rid of all saved passwords and favourite sites.

It is possible. Either you could do this manually by stopping those apps taking up the resources, or you could use an app like Clean Master which can be used to boost the memory.

I haven't tried many but can assure you that Clean Master does work well.

Its not the stopping the app that is the issue but knowing if the app stopped will cause harm to the cell phone or not

I see what you mean about clean master it does do a good job but i noticed theres a couple of them which one would you recommend or does it matter?

Well, I haven't seen any issues. Clean Master is used by millions of people all over the world and it receives some very positivie reviews

I think it presently has a rating of 4.7 and there are more than 500 million users. That's quite impressive if you ask me.

I would definitely recommend Clean Master. I am not sure about the other similar software but Clean Master works really well.

Background apps cause a lot of ram usage.

Clean master and all in one toolbox helps a bundle but i only have all in one toolbox installed because it does all but the anti-virus part but it has a feature where you can control the programs that startup.

Thank you all of you for your help we can close the thread Smile
