[Solved] HP Pavilion Laptop Zoom Issue

why does my laptop screen zoom in and out when i scroll up and down on the mouse to stop it i have to shut down then start it up and its ok again but only for a few hours and then starts again to zoom in and out can anyone help

First thought is the cntrl key must be stuck.

Like TopFreeare said it could be as simple as a stuck key.

I've seen a few laptops have a zoom in utility which is accessed by using a combination of keys. This is normally associated with the graphics drivers.

When does the 'zooming' happen?

hi its not the key it happen's at anytime i could be on facebook on the windows 8.1 main menu any web site i could be half way into somethink start to scroll again and then it starts to zoom in and out to stop it i have to shut down

You need to go into your mouse settings in control panel and look for something called "pinch zoom'' and disable it.

i will try that on monday as my laptop is at work and i use my imac at home
