In-place repair
#1
hello, i have win7 dual booted with XP[ on a second HDD] using Hirens boot software [as seen on britec] and i'd like to know the best way to do an in-place win7 "repair" without losing any programs or files. i have the original disc and key, and the disc id home premium 64 bit, but does not say SP1. i still am using the computer but its getting slow and i get the odd error once in a while.
thanks, tom

Have a look here too: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html (I found it very helpful when I did an inplace repair)
