Not sure if I am too late here but just to rule out a few more things before you run out an buy a board. Be sure to try a known good power adapter. I have seen a faulty power adapter that is going bad cause blank screen and even make creating partitions on a drive difficult. Remove EVERYTHING from the motherboard (dvd drive, wireless card, even the video cable) and then test using hdmi/vga just to rule out all other peripherals that could be causing an issue.

Update:
- The back light on the display failed (has image when you put a flashlight up to the screen). So this could be caused by a failing motherboard, inverter board, or the back light it's self. It also had no signal VIA HDMI... so along with all the other issues, the GPU could be on the way out also.
- These AIO's seem to fail by design... Has a thin aluminum plate for a heatsink, hardly any air gap between GPU and case, and no airflow at all across motherboard. Even with case off, the GPU got hot enough for me to say OUCH!!! when I held my finger on it.
- End Result: Because of the cost, customer is buying a new computer
Thank you guys for your input...
Oh! By The Way.... Acer sent me scratched eRestore Software Disks... YAYYY!!

Thanks for the update Larry!!!
Wow!!! That seems like a really bad system, motherboard and GPU sound really bad.
An interesting one for the legendary Larry
That was a good decision by the customer, price would have been over the roof or should I say the customers one

Yes REC, the parts where through the roof...
All of the AIO's that I have encountered have airflow issues. I monitor one HP AIO for a trucking company, I am always expecting to get an alert every time I go into my dashboard.

Yeah, they are a bit of a pain, just even by looking at, looks like trouble LOL
Do you use them a lot for the systems built?
