files and disk corruption what to do next?

i was having instability problems with my system so i ran chkdsk /f /r and when that completed they both found errors and repaired them but im wondering if there's any other steps i should take.

Should be. CrystalDisk it.

Incidentally, you don't need to run the /r switch on Vista /f will do the job and is preferred.

And i tell me self to stop bugging the forum about tweaks,commands and etc well thanks to that info guilty spark im glad i ask anyways lol
