ok that why you can't run 64 bit program but the cpu itself is 64bit which mean you can install 64bit windows 7

which will be better because you will use the 8GB memory

If you run the program I posted https://www.grc.com/securable.htm it will show what type of CPU architecture you have but if you do not wish to run any of the programs that are asked for you may find in future your questions fall on def ears. Just an FYI Wink

well since you are unsure on which windows 7 you need I would go with with professional 64bit

because you will have options and useable if need be

Ok thanks where is the place place to get windows 7, i have seen some for sale at £15 but comes with disk and a hdd so i'm unsure
