Infection help please
#1
I have some type of infection in my system Windows 10 pro x64 .I found my system was at 300gb of 1 tb witch i don't download a lot of stuff. I managed to delete some of the files witch now im back up to 823gb I run bitdefender antivirus free witch finds nothing. Cyberreason is telling me Something different I have some kind of ransomware in my computer and i see 2 folders in my c:/ and i see C:\ProgramData\simplitec and have tried to remove it but it just comes back. Also ran zemana,EmsisoftEmergencyKit, Reason core, RougeKiller,Superantispyware and spybot all say i'm clean

I see a process running I never seen run before COM Surrogate and what i do know about it is it is part of microsoft but can also be a infected file.

In c:/ i see a folder with a name like Accached234 and another with Xtools191 with the same things in both even if the names change the files in the folders are the same.

Download and run SpaceSniffer. Refer to the video below on how to use. Observe which folder is growing in size rapidly. Cross check that folder in Google to identify it's source.

I had a customers brand new 500gig ssd fill up within a week. She does nothing to fill up her drive. Under further investigation and after running SpaceSniffer I found that BitDefender was creating large data files quickly for no reason. Uninstalling BitDefender was how I solved the issue. Perhaps this is the issue you are having.

you did not run AdwCleane

post list of install programs and a list startup programs already posted a link on how to do that

you should reset all web browser because I can see from your first post you have malicious toolbars in install

How to Reset Google Chrome

How to Reset Mozilla Firefox

How to Reset Internet Explorer

I think we need a list of the programs that are installed because a few of the programs shown just do damage more than good. But if damo doesnt find any viruses with the list compton has given id go with what timster said about bit defender and space sniffer.
