How can i figure out what the response time of my monitor is?

did you select monitor then the little + symbol?

if you can't find it there then your best bet is to google manufacturer and model then find the manual

should have that info

I mean it might but it doesn't say anything about response time. How would response times work laptops.

I mean the monitor for my laptop according to display settings is 60hz would that have anything to do with response times? I mean the manufacture says 2ms but would that change if the monitor is 60hz?

if you can find manufacturer and model of the laptop screen you might be lucky to find that

I would not hold high hopes on that

Theres a tool at this link https://vvvv.org/contribution/windows-system-timer-tool

This tool is called system timer tool and what this does is match the system timer found in device manager under system devices to the response time of your pc monitor to reduce lag in games for low end systems.

Well in order to get the best results out of the tool you have to find out what the response time of the monitor is.
