I would think that it may read bad on the Disk Drive because they are two completely different technologies. Of course, we all know that you'll wave the Smirky-Wand and try it... lol

You can download AS SSD from here (LINK) This will help you check the partitioning alignment of your hard drive.
BAD in the top right means your alignment is off and could be losing some performance. You can use Mini Tool to Align Partition
