query about life expectancy of pc screen?
#1
i know someday without warning my pc screen will see broken pixels resulting in a unique phenomenom known as "green screen" which is totally opposite of the dreaded BSOD, which ive had in past. constant opening and closing of lid broke the pixels on my old pc that ran win vista last year. thus was the reason i got this one last july.
screens are more durable now right? the pc that broke, cost me 700 dollars in 2008. this one only cost me 250. anyone else experience what i went through? iam unsure of the life expectancy of pc screen...hopefully i wont have to face green screen phenomenom anytime soon

Very hard to determine how long anything will last nowadays, we live in a throwaway world today and tech become obsolete very quick, too quick some might say.

Just to backup what Compton and Britec have said hard to determine the life of any hardware.
