Hi guys,
it's been a week of trying to sort my laptop out,... a long week ..llol..
I've saved all my data that I need. will a clean install of windows 10
complacently format my C:/ drive for me, this may seem a silly question
to some of you but I really dont know, I'm hoping one of you wizards can tell me.. Confused

It's not a silly question by any means. If you follow the clean install guide at https://www.wintips.org/how-to-clean-install-windows-10/, at the step 8a, you will be presented with the option to format the partition before clicking on Next

If you choose to format the selected partition and click Next, all the data in that partition will be removed and Windows would then be installed in it
