@Partha Yeah Canon 7D is a bit costly, I chose it because I'm more familiar with Canon system. Can you name some cheaper ones but good that you mentioned please?

Well, you can  check the 1300D; it compares very well with  7D which is way more expensive. With 7D, you will  get a weather-sealed body, better ergonomics and  a much better looking camera in my view

But when it comes to the other features that basically translate to the overall quality of pictures, they are very similar

Which lens do you have?

I have the LUMIX G Vario Lens, 12-60mm, F3.5-5.6 ASPH., Micro Four Thirds, POWER Optical I.S. - H-FS12060

Yeah that was the lens that came with the camera. They called it a kit lens so I guess that is the stock lense for that camera. When researching that camera alot of users rated that lens very good for a "kit" lens. IDK I use it often but am still learning.

Tough getting the aperture, exposure and shutter speed just right at any given moment with so many settings for each.

Well, to make it a little easier as you keep exploring, you could try the Aperture Priority mode; I am pretty sure you will like it
