Just to add to what Compton wrote, an image or  a snapshot as they like to call it, is like a replica of the system; it contains the exact settings and files as they were when the image was created

So if you restore your system to that snapshot, all the files and settings that existed when the snapshot was taken, would be restored

rollback rx somehow failed to use most recent snapshot after pc went into bsod mode. yes, ive got bsod. i posted a thread about dilemma. even though iam angry of rollback, the time now is not to waste enegry on anger, but to focus on hand any effort to restore pc to a normal state.

I advise you to forget about snapping a picture of the OS until the issue with the BSOD is resolved then you can have a good healthy snapshot to Roll back to.

i wont be using rollback again bro. same with norton. the first time i got bsod, i tried using recent snapshot and the program didnt work. i know i opted to save snapshot for 30 days. i have to try do regular backup -when i get control of pc. a repair specialist told me he had complaints from norton users having it crash system and or bsod. bsod is literally the end of the world.

It may look like rollback is at fault but it could be because of various reasons in reality and besides, bsod is not the end of the world; there are means to recover

I would request you to follow our advice  on the other thread

Good ol partha. I place 98% of blame on norton, and 97% blame on rollback. 2 things i wont use once get back control. (If) i get pc back, i will be so elated. To a point of tears. Coupled with a fainting spell
