Setting up Administrator account in Windows 10
#1
Brian,
Would you consider making a video showing how to set up the Administrator account in Windows 10. I would like to see how to get all the content (desktop icons, folders, etc.) that I get on the limited user (admin) account I originally set up Windows on. Only a few files are seen. I asked on the forum for an explanation, but, unfortunately the link I read doesn't really go into any detail explaining how to do it. I want access to all my normal files when I log in as Administrator that I have on my C:/users/(account name)/desktop account. Sure would appreciate some help. If you don't want to make a video, would you please explain step by step how I need to proceed?  Thank you, Sir.

Sorry Paul, not sure I understand what you want me to show. Administrator is by default in Windows?

What I think would be a good video is explaining (in Windows 10) how to set up the "administrator" account and show the ways to protect it from malware and viruses. To instruct on how and why one would want to have the admin account, the dangers. I know you made a video on how to enable the administrator account, I would really like to have the info on the correct way to operate in it, safety settings, how to set up so to have access to all the same desktop icons, all programs, and configuring it like that for a single user that only uses 2 accounts, Administrator and a local account (with or without admin priviliges). I have been hearing there are dangers in running in the administrator account, and would like to hear from you on why, when, and how to use it correctly. Thank you, Sir.

Yes. That would work too. I don't think a lot of average users know how to get the administrator account set up in Windows 10, and definitely on how to have all the same content put in place that they have on their limited account. I would like to hear exactly why the admin account can be dangerous and as you said how to protect yourself. I need more info on using the admin account, myself.
