thanks for the help. I tried that first. There was an error in there somewhere and had to re-format. May have probably been to do with me installing the .bat file that Brian has on Windows 10 "delete telemetry updates" ....didn't notice tell later that it was for Windows 7....lol. You don't want to do that, if you're running Win 10.... Thanks for all the help.... THREAD CLOSED.

Just checked this on Windows 10>Update log>Get this inside the log>

Windows Update logs are now generated using ETW (Event Tracing for Windows).
Please run the Get-WindowsUpdateLog PowerShell command to convert ETW traces into a readable WindowsUpdate.log.
