Error code 487 - what to do?
#11
You think it's RAM issue? Can I just run memory test again then?

Edit:

Just to give you update, I can not remove 8gb one, since it's 64x Win10. So .... If I remove one, I'll be probably in problems. But I can try without 4gb one.

Edit:

Also, if it's RAM, I've seen people downclocking it .. will that solve issue?

Yes it could be a memory\hardware problem it could also be a software problem

if It is a failing memory downlocking would not help

Did you do the clean boot as I requested?

My brother did came to stay for weekend from collage, he is going on train later, so I will do this all stuff when he will be gone.

Will post later today or tomorrow.

That error you posted up relates to memory handling. You have two different types of memory modules installed probably running dual channel mode. I am curious as to how the computer runs with just one stick of ram installed just to rule that out.

edit: the actual pic of the error you were getting does not display any longer last I checked. Can you upload that screenshot of the error to the forums please?

  1. This could be a memory issue and you will need to run a test on your memory to be sure that it is not bad.
  2. The could be corrupted windows system files and these would need to be repaired.
Simple what to test if its a hardware or software issue. Backup data and reinstall Windows with all the updates and drivers installed and see if the problem goes away. If not then its a hardware issue. Or run diagnostic test on memory as suggested for minimum of 5 passes on one stick at a time and see if errors arise.

Clean gold connector on memory with a rubber and clean out the ram channel on the motherboard.
