I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is wrong with my display? It keeps going red first thing in the morning but if I leave the computer to go to sleep the redness goes away. It's like little lines on the screen which move when I am watching a video on Youtube. Any ideas what this is? Is it a display problem or graphics card problem. It's a Dell Inspiron 23 5348 Aio. Thank you very much for any help.

Can you take a photo of this red screen and post it on the forum?

I have a screenshot of the problem but it won't allow me to attach the photo as it is too big. Funny I looked at the screenshot just now and the redness hasn't shown up in the screenshot. What I must have seen was the redness when it was doing it. It's fine at the moment. No red lines or anything. I think it might be a display problem I will try and take a picture when it is doing it.
you will need zip up the photo and post on the forum how to zip up a file and post it on the forum

Hopefully that will give you an idea of what it is. Like I say the screenshot doesn't show the redness which sorta suggests it's a Hardware problem. Graphics card or display. Thanks for your help so far

what you can try is reinstalling video driver to see if it if the problem Inspiron 5348 drivers
select your operating system category select video if you have an AMD video select that or if you have an intel video card select that

The other thing I thought of is I have seen it flashing from red to normal. The first time I saw it was a month or so ago just out the blue when I was using the computer. It just disappeared then last week it started. See the fact the screen shot didn't pick it up is that a hardware problem?
