After April Update Unable to Boot
#1
The April Feature Update installed and ran reasonably OK but the next time I tried to boot I got a blank black screen with just the rotating dots and mouse curser. This (and similar) is already developing as a common problem. I have read some advice, such as Windows Central and other articles but have not found a solution for my tablet PC. After a lot of effort I have managed to enter the Repair Environment and Safe Boot (though without network) but do not know what to do next.

My system is Windows 10 64 bit, a hybrid tablet PC. I am having to post this from my Android tablet.

This could be many things, first place I would start is graphics driver, try updating graphics driver or uninstalling driver and reinstalling with latest version.

Turn off Windows Updates in Windows 10. You can do this by disabling the Windows Update Service. Via Control Panel > Administrative Tools, you can access Windows Services Manager. In the Services window, scroll down to Windows Update and turn off the
