Hi there folks
I'm using Windows 7 and the Asus Xonor D1 For my Sound Card and, Creative 5.1 Speakers.
And every so often I don't hear no windows sound or nothing coming from the speakers, yet I know there is sound there.
And I duly have to reboot my PC before the sound comes back on.
Any idea of a fix for this please?
Thanks
Rob

I had Creative 7.1 Speakers for years and then all of a sudden they started to play up. How old are the speakers?

Yeah I remember them well, I had to replace mine in the end Rob, they was acting very strange and could not fix them
I went a got these and they sound great and they have a lot less wires than the old Creative 5.1

You know you could just plug a set of ear buds up to the sound card to determine if you have issues with the speakers or the sound card itself.
