Hello
I recently followed your video on youtube for slipstreaming service pack 2 into Office 2010. Id had to re-install my Office due to a problem, and my original copy was pre-SP2. I followed the instructions carefully and everything worked OK until the install came to "Appling Updates", and after processing for some time, I got a message that the update had failed due to an Unknown Error 80070641. I haven't been able to resolve this problem or get any information as to what the error is. Can you help at all?
My OS is Vista Home Premium and the Office is 32bit.

Hello and thanks for your response. I wasnt able to find any details in the event log apart from SP2 Service pack failed due to error 80070641. Is there any other place to look for more detailed information? I completed the slipstreamed installation pack at 20:10 on 19/12/2014, and then proceeded to uninstall Office 2010 and then start the reinstall with the file containing the slipstreamed SP2 update. The above error was reported in the logs as follows:
