Trying to remove HP printer Software
#1
Hello,
I recently got a new samsung printer and it is going very well so thought I would uninstall the old HP printer SW.

The normal route through control panel/programs and features wasnt happy as it would never uninstall something called HP support solutions framework as it thought it would need it to monitor HP processes (even though the whole point was to get rid of HP)

I thought I could remove all traces of HP manually deleting files, but I am still left with the support solutions framework in control panel/uninstall programs. See error 1 pic

On its own this would be tolerable, but every time I start the computer I get error 2 happening

Anyone have any advice on how to get rid of that error2 on startups and how to clear it from the list of control panel programs?
thanks

Managed to get rid of the message that appears on startup by deleting a file called ink alerts located at

C:\Users\CompName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

I think this is only for the HP printer as the file was from a long time ago not the new printer
