please i would like to know why Malwarebytes doesn't release new program version frequently more a lot than Avast? What if Malwarebytes gets exploits and new unknown threats? I like Avast because Avast release new program version frequently

Malwerebytes lastest version was relase 3.6.1 / September 19, 2018
which is 3 months which is not that long it's pretty stable right now.
probably have no reason to update the program itself
remember you are getting virus definition update daily
it's all happening in the background

I don't run Avast anymore.
Windows defender and Malwarebytes Pro, is good enough with good backup habits, in my opinion.
