Exporting Gmail to Outlook

ok got Em Client  working

will looking to outlook this weekend

1. what I did is to add  Em Client  to work through windows defender
2. then add   Em Client  to my google account

Just as a reminder regarding Outlook adding a Gmail account.
I talked with a tech at Google and he said there is already a
known issue adding an additional account to Outlook. I know in the
past Outlook would add accounts but not really confident in Google's feedback.
Just a reminder.

Typically tech forums are inundated with complaints and curmudgeonly folks that are quick to attack with their pitiful stories that had this person taken the time to have carefully read the advice of the expert their issue would be easily resolved.
This is not a complaint about you or Britec in general. This is one guy out in Central Oregon that has had an issue and you Compton, was able to advise and correct the issue!
Other tech forums are not as willing and able to assist boneheads as this forum has always been.
Your suggestion to adjust the Windows defender did the trick with respect to adding an account to BOTH Em-client as well as Outlook.
You've given me plenty to think about as to better service my customers!

Hi Compton,
I wanted to provide a summary as to what allowed me to be able to enable my Outlook program to add a gmail account to the program.After exhausting all tutorials, with what you said about checking in with the Windows Defender firewall to see if the firewall had appropriate exceptions allowed was the answer to my issue. It seems as if there is considerable interest in this post and was hoping I could better explain the overall process you assisted me with.
