raid setup to single disk
#1
I have an msi notebook which is configured as raid 0 using two 250gb ssd on the motherboard. (NOT software raid). I have backed up the ssd's with both Trueimage 2019 and EaseUS ToDo backup. I would like to change this configuration to a single disk using AHCI and restoring the OS which is windows 10 pro 1809, using one of the two backup programs above. Can this be done. Nice to see a video of this if posisble. thanks dave

What you have to do is format  a ssd then restore the image  using  acronis true image

  1. make sure you change it raid 0 to single disk in  the bios first
  2. make sure the ssd is bigger than the image you are restoring from
  3. create an  acronis true image recovery flash drive so you can restore the image https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2019/index.html#26974.html
