Adblock Plus

[Super Mario]

So was using Firefox and there was a message at the top of my screen saying that some addons have been disabled. I noticed Adblock Plus is missing so go to addons and try to reinstall it but it says download failed please check your internet connection. Has this happened to anyone else or could anyone recommend another adblocker if Firefox has discontinued it?
