how to update drivers from win xp to win7

Hi first of all Love the you tube vid's.

Now for my problem. I got out my old laptop Dell Insperon 8600 and I upgraded it from Win XP Pro to Win 7 Home Basic but I'm now having problem's with upgrading all the driver's. I get the driver's from the right place's but when I try to install I get a message that the drivers only support win xp pro and will not install.

Could you sergest anything? BIG TY

No I havent tryed that web sight but I did use Driver Genious 11 to scan for out of date and missing drivers and I only got driver's for xp pro and not win7.
And after some hours I gave up and returned the laptop back to xp pro.

It now work's with no problems In fact I'm useing it now to reply to you, but a BIG TY for the help..

Have you done a youtube vid on resoring or upgrading drivers if not may be an idea for you.

Ty for the reply but I did go to the dell Driver update page and I put my Service Tag number in and they to only gave me driver updates for xp pro but not win 7, I then tryed Gforce for vid card, Realtek for sound card, Broadcom for Modem, Pro wierless drivers and Intel for the chipset etc.

All of these places only gave drivers for the xp pro. When I tryed to install the drivers all I get is "Can not find parts the Insterlation will now close".

So this is why I tryed the driver genius 11. But againe ty for help I will try these sergestions.
