CPU Swop Over
#1
Thumbs Up
Hi ppl.

I'v just swoped and installed a new vidieo card and added new ram but I need to change my CPU, I'm running a Intel® Celeron® D 3.46GHz and need a upgrade to a duo core but having problems finding one to match the 3.46GHz can sergest  one for me in a price range of £80 to £150 mark.

At moment my win7 rating is at 6.1 just CPU letting me down. Big TY

One more thing could Brian do a vid on how to change a (eg) 2.44GHZ CPU for a 34.00GHz because I think that you may need to change powersetting or somthing like that??   Cool  Huh

This is the problem the only marking's that I can fined on the MoBo is Intel Desktop Board LGA775. And just to show you I will have to add a Attachment

After some searching ( I typed the number off the white sticker in photo ) . Number is D945GCCRG1, then I went to this link given from FIXYA web sight https://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=dg31pr and both the old and new CPU's are listed

Does NOT look like your Intel 2 LGA775 Quade Core CPU is supported with that motherboard.
