Virtual Box hardware virtualization
#1
Yes Hi my name is Scott I am new here but love the tutorials offered by Avoid Errors. The problem I am having is that I downloaded the Virtual Box for Windows hosts for x86 / 64bit, it installed fine but when I try to create a new VM, for android x86, after naming it, my drop down menu shows all 32 bit systems, and nothing else, then after I click Install android to harddisk in virtual box it goes to the black screen starts to install then stops and says not syncing rebooting in 60 sec then does same thing over again. I saw in Virtual Box help that hardware virtualization needs to be enabled in BIOS, is this my problem?

If so will I find a setting that says just that in my BIOS, or will it be called something else?  TY in advance

Yes you would need to enable virtualization in the BIOS. Not sure which system you have but you will find it in the BIOS.

In my advanced  options it reads in device options:

Hyper threading                         disabled
Integrgated video                       enabled
NIC PXE option ROM download      disabled

mine does not say CPU config...
