Trying to find the best and fastest way to install windows updates. Had to do factory reset and installation of updates takes so long. Any help would be appreciated

you will have to go through the normal process no fastest way but what you can do the next time you have to factory restore a computer is to download the updates on a flash drive so all you have to do is to install them using this program https://download.wsusoffline.net/ 
I will be uploading a video today on slipstreaming windows updates and driver packs, it will be called build custom windows installation disk
