Hello,
I 'm working on a website with wordpress and I use xampp ,localhost. I don't have a hosting site at the moment, because I wanted to finish the website and afterwards uploading it on a hosting site. Well now the problem is that some of the photos I'm uploading are ok but others seem broken. And when I click on the link this message pops out: 404 PAGE NOT FOUND
Why does it see those photos as broken? What can I do to make it work?
Thank you for your time.

The problem isn't solved. The image still looks like broken but when I press edit it appears fine. What's going on?

It may have something to do with your websites file permissions.
Is your uploads directory 777?

Hello ,
thank you all for your replies. It didn't have a problem with permissions because it wasn't uploaded on a hosting server. I use xampp, local host. And as it turns out the problem was in front of my eyes, the name of the pictures wan't recognised by wordpress. So I changed it and voila! worked! So again thank you for taking the time to explain and look in to my problem.
