How to create a bootable Windows USB flash drive

Gentlemen I cant seem to find the tutorial, but I have a genuine 8.1 pro on dvd that I need to put on a usb for my wifes pc, cause here dvd player dont work, can you please give me some insight
i use power iso but it told me that 300 MB was the limit but i did it before but cannot remember the steps I took, please help.........

create a Iso image from the windows 8.1 DVD using

image burn after creating a Iso use rufus to write the iso to the flash drive

OK Thank you  guys, I did make my bootable usb witht no probs, another quick question, I went to asus for the drivers for the g73jh i am installing on, but I can't seem to find all of the drivers for it, is ROG a reliable source or can someone point me to a better place with a little more explanation,  TY in advance

the laptop only support windows 7 drivers

are you trying run windows 7 drivers on windows 8.1?

Yeah that looks like it, I got windows 8.1 up and running well, the only issue I have is that the wimax/wifi goes to limited access every now and then, so I just plugged in a USB wireless adapter and it works fine, I will keep working on that, TY Compton and Brian for your feedback. I found windows 8.1 drivers,
