How to Extend Time to Uninstall a Windows 10 upgrade or Feature Update
How to Change the number of rollback days for Windows 10 feature upgrades? So you want to extend the amount of time to roll back an update? the default time to uninstall an update is 10 days. It used to be 30 days, but Microsoft changes it to 10 days. This can be extended to a maximum of 60 days in command prompt, which I think is essential to give you time to roll back when there is a major problem with that feature upgrade or update.
To check how long you have left to roll back update
DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow
To set max time period to uninstall a windows 10 update or upgrade
DISM /Online /Set-OSUninstallWindow /Value:60
This command initiates a rollback from the command line, this also can be done from the recovery area in windows.
DISM /Online /Initiate-OSUninstall
This removes the previous version of Windows so that the system cannot be rolled back anymore.
DISM /Online /Remove-OSUninstall
