Want to learn How to Get Rid of Windows 10 Upgrade Microsoft is are offering users to upgrade to Windows 10 for free if you are running Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. But what if you are happy with your version of Windows and you want to opt out of there free upgrade? I will show you a way to block and remove the Windows 10 upgrade and stop that annoying upgrade notification. I will show you 3 handy programs that can delete the hidden folders $WINDOWS.~BT and $WINDOWS.~WS it will also uninstall Update for Windows KB3035583 it will remove all remnants of Windows upgrade, including the icon and upgrade notification.
You can hide the KB3035583 update and prevent it from being reinstalled, right click it in the Windows Update area and select “Hide update”.
The program I will be using is called GWX Control Panel

There is another step I never covered in the video which you can do.
1. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Gwx
2. Create a new 32-bit DWORD value on the right hand side pane and name it “DisableGwx” and give it a value of 1.
Remember to make a backup of your data and image you version of Windows before you continue in case something goes wrong.
