Pros and Cons of System Restore
what is system restore used for? The tool is designed to protect and repair the computer software. System Restore takes a “snapshot” of the some system files and the Windows registry and saves them as Restore Points.
System Restore is a handy feature to have to help return your Windows PC to an earlier point in time when it was working. But people use it as a backup solution, which is not a good idea. In my experience, system restore is unreliable and untrustworthy, but with that said, it does have a place in 2021.
Its great for rolling a computer back after a failed program install or a failed driver install.
