Solve Laptop Overheating Issue
#11
My dell n5110 has cheap cooling solution too. i5 not to bad but nivdia get toasty at 94c max load. Drop's to 70c with in seconds after stopping full load. it's a dell dual GPU set up so idle is only 25c if that on nivdia chip. i5 range 60c-75c. Tell me the cooling capability of the copper pipe is not good enough when pushing system max's. I did buy a new dell fan to see if that work. sadly no. My Solution now is a cooling pad x3 fans and the spare fan mod to usb and just rest that on top of laptop when full load. Works well stop's heat getting out of hand. Plus copper pipe do have insulation tape to try stop heat spreading inside laptop.
