I have had problems with IObit Uninstaller..."even with default settings" Windows 10 doesn't seem to like it. Other good ones are Revo Uninstaller or Geek Uninstaller....

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure of if any of these programs come without adware included. I can tell you they have all been purchased programs which would be disappointing if they then chose to ad unwanted adware to the programs. I don't remember seeing any reference to any of the listed programs when I looked over the Adwcleaner log. How would one go about researching the programs to learn about what is included with a purchased program? I appreciate your help and look forward to hearing back from you.

you really can't research a program to see what the installer comes with
the only way to tell is to run installer and to look to see if any adware or anything questionable is being install

I always try to be paying attention when I install new programs So often there will be unwanted options checked which if you don't catch it the program will be installed. So with this as the basic idea I'm confident the programs listed do not install unwanted adware programs with install.
Hi After watching a video of Bri's titled "Why You Should Backup Your Windows Registry" During the tutorial he provided a name for a Registry Backup and restore program. This name actually shows in this instruction problem is that when attempting to find such named program I can't find it. Is it possible to send a URL link such that I can download the same program as is suggested in the tutorial? Thanks!

I am still with you create a restore point first remove all the search engine with adwcleaner
upload the logs

I'm understanding there should be a "search' Folder which is missing?? Can you help? This is suggested where I should go to find the disable cortana but I don't have the search folder>> Thanks in advance! |
