Unfortunately , I was asked to bring my friend's laptop back to him on the 7th. I have an image of his drive, and I will have my local tech friend take a look to see what happened when my friend directs me to do this. I want to thank everyone for the help - You all are awesome

I have a friend that asked me to do a windows 7 to windows 10 upgrade. It went well, except that each time it is turned on or reset, there is an ERROR message that shows me a sad face, then says that it needs to restart, then it counts off "0, 10, 20, 30, 40" ... all the way up to 100%, then it restarts, and works well, but I cannot figure out what the problem is, because I cannot find anything that indicates what driver, or issue is being reported.
Compton says I should look at the Error Log in the Event Viewer, but I am not sure what I am looking for.......can someone point me in the right direction, so I can solve this error?
Thanks for all your help
Brian
