So you use snappy drive installer, when installing the drivers on a fresh install of windows.

Yes, That's what I use on customer PC's. Not only on fresh installs... when a client comes in with a driver issue, I can have them out the door in 5 to 10 minutes.

EDIT: If it's a custom built PC, always go to the Motherboard Manufacturer and get the latest drivers...

OK another question! Do you need to install the Management Engine Interface for ASUS Z170-P?
So Compton you said the Chipset drivers? Do I need to install the Management Engine Interface along with the main chipset driver?

Get a system inventory list of the hardware of the PC with Speccy. Then compare that with what is available by the manufacturer, and install the latest drivers. For devices that don't show up in device manager and Speccy, is gonna take a bit of research on your part for the specific model of PC or Motherboard.

Ok thanks. And finally lets say windows install a standard version of one of those motherboard drivers, I premsume that I should download and install the latest driver anyway.

For mass produced PC like one you buy from a store...It should. But if it's a custom built PC with for example..a new Z170 or Z270..I would go to ASUS or Gigabyte for all the drivers. I highly doubt SDI would have those drivers.
