Browser Lock Technical Support Scam: Another tech support scam that locks your browser stating your computer is infected, There is a voice message trying to scare you and saying your computer is infected with Adware, Spyware and Malware. The scam is to con you into thinking your infected and you need to call the number on the screen. These browser tech support scams are very common now. Never pay for this scam and never call the number. The browser is locked and cannot be closed in the usual way. Use task manager to close browser and run scans with Malwarebytes, ADWCleaner, HitmanPro and Eset online scanner to make sure system is clean, use ccleaner to remove all temporary internet files and you should be OK.
