False Positive Virus? Or Should I Be Worried?
False positives or false alarms from your antivirus are harmless files or URLs that are incorrectly identified as malicious by the antivirus program. Sometimes software programs can act and behave like malware or viruses, but this does not mean they program is malicious is a false alarms. Even if you check the file or URL with virustotal and it also flags it as malicious, it does not mean it will hurt your computer, its what we call a false positives. You have to use a bit of common sense.
